Dmitry Kirichenko, Andrey Matsyura and Dmitry Khokhlov join Sochi coaching staff

FC Sochi officially presented new members of coaching staff led by Kurban Berdyev.

Dmitry Kirichenko and Andrey Matsyura previously worked with Berdyev as assistants in Kairat Almaty and Tractor, Kirichenko also collaborated with coach in Rostov between 2015 and 2017. Andrey Matsyura’s father, Aleksandr Matsyura, was a member of Berdyev’s staff in Rubin and Rostov.

Dmitry Khokhlov, 2004 RPL champion as Lokomotiv player, spent most time of coaching career in Dynamo Moscow system. He was an assistant, interim and full-time head coach in first team, also coached White-Blues second team and youth team. In 2015 Khokhlov worked as head coach in Kuban Krasnodar, in 2021 he was hired by Rotor Volgograd.

Kurban Berdyev officially became Sochi head coach om 25 December. In the first part of the season this position was officially taken by Aleksandr Tochilin, while Vadim Garanin was senior coach.
