Zenit St. Petersburg officially signed defender Strahinja Erakovic from Crvena Zvezda on “4+1” contract.
22-year-old Serbian joined the group of Zenit summer signings, which includes Du Queiroz (officially signed in winter, joined in summer), Aleksandr Kovalenko, and Mario Fernandes.
Erakovic graduated from Crvena Zvezda, but he made first steps at pro level with Graficar in First Serbian League during 2019/20 season. After coming back to Crvena Zvezda, defender played 107 matches for club in official competitions, he became three-time Serbian champion and three-time Serbian Cup winner.
Erakovic has five international caps for Serbian national team. He was a part of squad at 2022 FIFA World Cup, but remained on the bench in all three matches.
