print version

FC Krasnodar officially signed back Murad Musaev as head coach of the team for the rest of 2023/24 season.

Musaev spent ten years in the club; he joined in 2011 as Academy coach, in April 2018 moved to first team, where he worked until leaving in April 2021. Under Musaev Krasnodar finished third in RPL seasons 2018/19 and 2019/20 and reached Champions League for the first time (eliminated in play-off round in 2019/20 season, played in the group stage in 2020/21 season). After parting ways with the Bulls coach went to Azerbaijan, where he had been working for Sabah since October 2021 to February 2024.

Krasnodar are second in RPL standings with 39 points after 20 matches and one point behind Zenit. Team will resume season in the end of March visiting Lokomotiv in Week 22 fixture.
