Belenov, Gudiev, Kvekveskiri, Appaev to stay in Fakel

Fakel Voronezh announced the extension on undisclosed terms with goalkeepers Aleksandr Belenov and Vitaly Gudiev, team captain Irakly Kvekveskiri and striker Khyzyr Appaev.

37-year-old Belenov and 29-year-old Gudiev spent first season with Fakel. Belenov played 24 matches in RPL with ten clean sheets earned, while Gudiev appeared six times and remained unbeaten twice.

Kvekveskiri signed with Fakel before 2022/23 season, when team made debut in RPL, in spring 2023 midfielder became team captain. 34-year-old player made 56 appearances and scored three goals in two RPL seasons.

Appaev moved to Voronezh at the beginning of 2021, when Fakel played in FNL, and earned direct promotion with team in 2021/22 season. In RPL 34-year-old striker has three goals in 56 matches with Fakel.
