Spartak sign Willian Jose from Real Betis

Spartak Moscow officially agreed transfer of Real Betis striker Willian Jose.

The Brazilian became first Red-Whites newcomer this summer signing two-year contract.

Willian Jose played in Brazil for Gremio Barueri, Sao Paolo, Gremio, Santos, was a player for Maldonado in Uruguay, but did not make any appearances, then moved to Spain to play for Real Madrid, Real Zaragoza, Las Palmas, Real Sociedad and Real Betis, spent six months with Wolverhampton on loan. Forward had been playing for last three seasons in Betis scoring 21 goals in 93 La Liga matches.

Player was called by Brazil national team for friendly matches against Russia and Germany in March 2018, he spent both on the bench. With U-20 national team Willian Jose won World Cup in 2011.
