Safety and comfort of fans are the main aims of the Premier-League

On October 11, in the press center of the BSA «Luzhniki» a Meeting on protection of public order and safety during the preparation and carrying out of football matches took place, organized by the RFPL. Besides RFPL authorities and safety officers of clubs, the following participants attended the Meeting: the Deputy Minister of internal Affairs Alexander Gorovoy, the Stats-Secretary - Deputy Minister of sport Natalia Parshikova, President of Football Union of Russia Nikolay Tolstykh, President of the Committee on defense and security of the Council of Federation, President of the Committee of the FUR on security and work with fans Viktor Ozerov, heads of territorial bodies of the Ministry of internal Affairs.

Addressing the attendees, President of the RFPL Sergey Pryadkin noted the necessity of the soonest introducing of the relevant laws, which would allow to ensure the safety and comfort at football matches more effectively. During the transitional season of 2011-2012 the Premier-League's clubs paid more than $ 1.5 million fines for violations of spectators at their games. Stadium damage amounted to a total of approximately $ 2 million, which also was compensated from the clubs' budget. Sergey Pryadkin said that the question of repartition of the responsibility for such offenses has taken shape a long time ago, and in connection with that it is necessary to make changes in certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation. Pryadkin also expressed RFPL's readiness for close cooperation with the police to ensure law and order and a gradual reduction of the number of employees of the Ministry of internal Affairs in the stadiums.

Head of the Department of security of FC «Lokomotiv» (Moscow) Oleg Gorshkov represented to the audience the concept of security and the experience on the organization and carrying out of football matches accumulated by FC «Lokomotiv». Deputy Security Director of RFPL Alexander Safonov told about actual problems in cooperation with the territorial bodies of the Ministry of internal Affairs during the games, and about the Premier-League's and the clubs' work on ensuring safety at the stadiums.
