International conference “Experience and modern tendencies in the work of the leading European football Academies”, that was organized by the Russian Football Premier League, “Sport Industry Management” faculty of RMA business school and RIA “Novosti”, was held at Moscow.

Heads of clubs’ football academies and schools and other educational institutions, including such famous academies as a Football Academy by Konoplev from Tolyatti and a Football school of Alexey Smertin from Barnaul, came to meet foreign colleagues at the capital.

Reports were made by Pedro Ferreira (a member of a Board of Directors, a Secretary General of a Board of Directors, a Director of SCP Sporting Academy (Lisbon, Portugal), Jose Casanova (a Director of Malaga CF Academy (Malaga, Spain), Sergey Rodionov (a President of “Spartak” FC Academy by Fedor Cherenkov (Moscow), Valentin Klimko (a Director of “Spartak” FC Academy by Fedor Cherenkov (Moscow), Ivan Danilyants (a Head of “Rubin” FC youth football development program (Kazan), Gennadiy Golubin (a General Manager of Academy by Konoplev (Tolyatti).

The event resulted in a decision that was made by the Russian participants to develop consolidated proposals aimed at improvement of Russian Academies’ work and submit them for consideration of RFS Executive Committee and a regular conference of the Russian Football Union.
