Legerdary “Spartak” players Rinat Dasaev and Fedor Cherenkov get to work at “Spartak”. The best goalkeeper of the world 1998 and the best football player of the Soviet Union 1983 and 1989 will work at the “Spartak” Academy where they will engage in the development of partnership programs and search for young talents in our large country. That was said to the club's official site by the President of the Academy Sergey Rodionov.

— One of the priorities for the club and Academy is development of partnership programs in Russia, We already have ten agreements with different regions, about a hundred signed memorandums with schools in the SZAO of Moscow. Many different schools, football sections are willing to cooperate with us. We think the development of such programs are very important, particularly considering increasing competition among Russian clubs. It is necessary that people in regions clearly understand: «Spartak” is the leading club in Russia. In addition, such work will make our choice of boys much richer. Dasaev and Cherenkov suit for this work better tham anyone else. It is encouraging that the legendary “Spartak” players will work with us and contribute to the club and Academy. It is unnecessary to remind once again what their names mean to the football world. Andrey Tikhonov works with us for the same programs. Imagine emotions that boys will experience when Dasaev, Cherenkov and Tikhonov come to them for a master-class!

Now our Academy prepares a special program of young football player's training that will include description of our training process as a subsection. Thereby, if we wish, we will be able to introduce “Spartak” football in every region, every school! Of course, we don't forget about our project of youth football development in the SZAO of Moscow. Within it the celebrated veterans will also participate. The main thing is that our program will work and due to increase in a number of partners, of course, we need people who will implement the plans to life.

In this connection I want to thank “Spartak” top management – Leonid Fedun, Roman Askhabadze, a head coach Valery Karpin — for their daily care of the Academy, support of continuous connection among “Spartak” generations. Cherenkov and Dasaev are carriers of red and white traditions and the brightest personalities in the history of “Spartak”. And there is no future without traditions and history. This I'm convinced of.

— The most important direction of our work is development of various “Spartak” partnership programs. And not only at the Academy but also at the club: we will travel to regions, hold master-classes, press conferences. In addition, among my tasks there is also selection of goalkeepers for our Academy. I will search for young talents throughout Russia. It is interesting and necessary work. Many thanks to “Spartak” top management for counting on me. With pleasure and joy I accepted an offer to return to my favorite club to which almost all my football life is connected. I want “Spartak” to progress in all directions and I will do everything I can for this. At the moment our Academy is the strongest in the country but it doesn't stay still and wants to be developed. That is right! The stronger the Academy, more home-grown players will be in the “Spartak” first team.

Fedor Cherenkov, a legendary “Spartak” midfielder:

— I am thankful to “Spartak” management for new work at the Academy. With joy and readiness I accepted this offer of the club's management. We know that many boys playing football support “Spartak” and, of course, we would like to revive our brand “Spartak” game. We will travel throughout the country, watch and search for talents, develop partnership with new schools in various parts of Russia. It is a pleasure to work in conjunction with such wonderful people as Rinat Dasaev and Andrey Tikhonov. “Spartak” partnership programs expand so we need to work on prospect. And not only in Moscow and Moskovskaya oblast but in other regions as well. Our task is to find young players from provinces, possibly from low income families that will struggle to climb to the top of football achievements. We will search for such pearls with hope. I am sure talents didn't extinct in vast Russia.
