Within preparations to the start of the SOGAZ-Russian football Championship 2012-2013 spring stage, the working group consisting of the RFPL Executive Director Sergey Cheban, the League Security Director Alexander Meytin and representatives of a major broadcaster “Liga-TV” made a planned trip to Nizhniy Novgorod.

Representatives of the Premier-League and “Liga-TV” met the Deputy Governor of Nizhegorodskaya region, the Head of FC “Volga” Board Dmitriy Svatkovskiy and managers of the club to discuss important issues related to “Volga” playing at the Russian Championship.

“Premier-League checks how the clubs are ready to the Championship restart. The goal of our working visit is to assess the stadium conditions, provide guidelines for the clubs to get ready for arena certification. We have assessed the work that was done in autumn, looked at the quality of the lawn and in general we are satisfied. We were accompanied by the representatives of the major broadcaster that charted the ways of improving TV picture. The meeting was productive and we came to understanding on every issue” - Sergey Cheban said.

Special attention was paid to testing security systems of the stadium. «Everywhere a control system that is integrated with a unified base of violators is introduced. This is due to the fact that tickets will be sold by passports now and we will be able to prohibit entrance to the stadium using this system and release arenas of regular violators.

It is planned that starting from a next season the match organisator will be responsible for security at the stadium. We discussed this issue since it is necessary to train enough staff who can receive a certificate of UEFA level and we came to complete understanding with the club's management”, - Alexander Meytin said and he also added that he attitudes positively the precedent when “Zenit” recovered by court decision 20 000 rubles from a fan who had run out to the field during one of the games.
