«Rubin» beat the current Europa League winner in Madrid

In the first game of 1/16 final of UEFA Europa League "Rubin" Kazan played against the current champion of the tournament "Atletico" in Madrid.

Madrid club was a favorite but Kurban Berdyev's team sensationally won – 2:0. And "Rubin" played with 10 players after Sharonov was shown a red card in the end of the first half.

In the start of the game Gekdeniz Karadeniz scored and on the last seconds of the game Orbais scored into empty gates of the hosts.

Return game will be held in Kazan in a week.

Russian Football Premier League congratulares "Rubin" with the victory and wishes the Kazan club success in the tournament.
