New format of Russian football broadcasting is the reality

On 18 February in Moscow an annual workshop dedicated to TV broadcast of the SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship matches was held. The workshop was attended by top management of the RFPL, "Liga-TV", sports channels of the major broadcaster NTV-Plus, representatives of the League clubs' press services. They summed up the broadcast of the Championship in 2012 and discussed issues occured. Representatives of the major broadcaster told about changeover to a new broadcasting HD format of all matches by the start of the next season 2013/14.

«Interest to the Championship is increasing constantly. Qualitative and interesting broadcast of the matches is one of the main tasks of Russian football popularization. Within preparations to the season restart the Premier-League and the major broadcaster representatives visit stadiums and solve issues regarding improvement of broadcasts there", - the RFPL Executive Director Sergey Cheban said.

Director of the NTV-Plus sports channels Dmitry Chukovskiy adressed the clubs' representatives with a proposal to assist creative staff of the major broadcaster and include materials of the club TV into "Nash Football" program. 

After the workshop within the RFPL clubs licensing procedure the FUR staff held certification of PR departments' representatives. 

On 19 February in Ostankino representatives of creative and technical staff of regional TV companies together with NTV-Plus staff held practical analysis of TV broadcasts using regional and Moscow SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship matches as an example.
