Fabio Capello announced the extended list of candidates to the Russian national team

The coaching staff of the Russian national team headed by Fabio Capello approved an extended list of players who can be called for preparation to a qualifying game of World Cup 2014 against Northern Ireland (22 March, Belfast, Windsor Park stadium, 23.45 Msk) and a friendly game against Brazil (25 March, London, Stamford Bridge stadium, 23.30 Msk), the FUR official site says.

Currently the list includes 27 football players. The final squad will named next week.

Goalkeepers: Igor Akinfeev (CSKA Moscow), Vladimir Gabulov (Anji Makhachkala), Sergey Ryzhikov (Rubin Kazan), Anton Shunin (Dynamo Moscow).

Defenders: Aleksander Anyukov (Zenit), Aleksey Berezutskiy, Vasily Berezutskiy, Sergey Ignashevich, Kirill Nababkin (all - CSKA), Vladimir Granat (Dynamo Moscow), Andrey Escshenko, Arseny Logashov (both - Anji), Dmitry Kombarov (Spartak Moscow).

Midfielders: Igor Denisov, Viktor Fayzulin, Roman Shirokov (all - Zenit), Denis Glushakov, Maksim Grigoriev (both - Lokomotiv), Oleg Ivanov (Terek Grozny).

Forwards: Vladimir Bystrov, Aleksander Kerzhakov (both - Zenit), Alan Dzagoev (CSKA), Yury Zhirkov, Fedor SmolovФедор Смолов, Oleg Shatov (all - Anji), Aleksander Kokorin (Dynamo M), Aleksander Samedov (Lokomotiv M).
