Vagner Love is the most valuable player of May, Eto'O is voted the best player of the year

Forward of FC Anji Samuel Eto'O was awarded with a "The most valuable player of the year" prize that was founded by the Russian Football Premier League and a sports portal Championat.com.

Ending of the championship turned out to be intriguing due to the Anji forward moving to the top progressively. In the 29th tour Eto'O finally gained on Aleksander Kokorin, who was a leader for long time, and scored the same number of points. Voting rules suppose that in case if football players gain the same amount of points, a player who was mentioned in tour rankings more often wins. Eto'O was called the best by experts and journalists in 11 tours out of 30 while Kokorin was mentioned in 9 tours. 

Forward of PFC CSKA Vagner Love was called the most valuable player of May.
