Past championship is the most interesting in RFPL history

On May 29 at a press-center of Lokomotiv Stadium RFPL top management press-conference dedicated to the results of SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship 2012-2013. The meeting with representatives of top sports and general political mass media lasted an hour and a half. All the questions asked were given detailed and comprehensive answers.

RFPL President Sergey Pryadkin said that, according to majority of fans, specialists and football community, the past championship was one of the most interesting during 20 years of Premier League history. Struggle for positions in Eurocups and places in the Premier-League lasted until the last tour, attendance and performance of the games were higher than in previous seasons.

Executive officer Sergey Cheban thanked the journalists for cooperation, emphasized the important role of mass media in Russian football development. "The first season that was held by the Autumn-Spring ended," - Cheban said. - Season was controversial ambiguous, it raised our bar that we will try to match. We are basically satisfied. The most important things are  competition, unpredictability, emergence of new stars and other aspects, all these things give us confidence. New players will emerge, come or return, new coaching decisions will appear. The most positive moment is that we were unsure till the end how the positions in the tournament table will be distributed”.

Security Director Alexander Meytin told in details about the way security is provided during the games and emphasized decline in the number of violations at the stadiums. He also told about the work on legislation regarding the behavior at the games, safety and struggle against match-fixing.

At the end of the press-conference Sergey Pryadkin once again thanked the journalists for promoting SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship and promised to continue holding the policy of transparency in the Premier League work.
