Safety of fans is the main goal for the Premier-League

On June 4 in Perm the Main Directorate for the Protection of Public Order of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation and the Russian Football Premier-League held a workshop regarding issues of provision of security during football games. The RFPL Safety Director Alexander Meytin, the RFPL Deputy Safety Director Alexander Safonov, the Premier-League clubs' safety directors, heads of stadiums safety departments and representatives of the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Sports participated in the meeting.

During lively discussions the participants shared opinions on the state of safety at Russian football arenas and discussed development progress of making changes to the laws that regard the provision of public order and safety during official sports events.
