Cisse transferred to Kuban

French forward Djibril Cissé (31 y.o., 183 cm/85 kg) officially became a player of FC Kuban. Agreement with the forward is signed under 1+1 scheme, the official site says.

Previously Cisse played for Auxerre, Liverpool, Marseille, Sunderland, Panathinaikos, Lazio, Queens Park Rangers and Al-Gharafa. On 18 May 2002 he debuted for the French national team and since then he has played 41 games and scored 9 goals. 

– No need to introduce Djibril Cissé to sports lovers, his name is well-known in the football world, – FC Kuban sports director Segrey Doronchenko commented. – This player's transfer is not just a bif name that will be associated with FC Kuban. The footballer himself is fuul of ambitions, he has big plans for a season in the Yellow-Greens. The main goal for Cisse is to return to the French national team due to performance in Kuban.
