Amkar fans gathered 122 000 rubles for treatment of sick child

Every tenth fan took part in an activity held by a non-commercial charity organization “Dedmorozim” and football club Amkar during a game against Dynamo at Zvezda stadium. The activity was dedicated to collection of funds for a surgery for 3-year-old Maksim Melkov who had been diagnosed with cardiac anomaly. Organisation’s activists were standing next to each stadium entrance with flyers and transparent moneyboxes into which every fan who came to the game that day could drop feasible amount. According to the organisation’s estimate an average contribution amounted to 100 rubles. Active Amkar fans were also the most active contributors to a fight against the disease – members of the fan movement gathered and passed to volunteers 10 000 rubles, the club’s official site says.

While spectators attacked the disease, Perm football players kept Dynamo goalkeeper stressed. Two goals scored in the first half provided Amkar with a beautiful and well-deserved victory.
