On November 20 the MIA of Russia in Yaroslavl region reported on prosecuting one of the hooligans which were holding a flag with Nazi symbols during a match of the Round of 32 of the Cup of Russia 2013-2014 between Shinnik (Yaroslavl) and Spartak (Moscow), the press office of the MOI of Russia in Yaroslavl region reports.

"On October 30, 2013, in Yaroslavl at the Shinnik stadium a football game of the Round of 32 of the Cup of Russia 2013-2014 between Shinnik (Yaroslavl) and Spartak (Moscow ) was held. During the match, the fans which were situated on the East and North stands, provoked a fight, began to break and throw plastic seats aside the police. Extensive material damage was caused to the stadium. The most active participants of the fight were arrested and taken to the police, 78 reports administrative offenses was compiled. Kirov district court of Yaroslavl decided to impose administrative arrest on 14 of them (ranging from 3 to 5 days).

During the football match a flag with Nazi symbols was posted on the North Stand. During the work on this fact the Center for Combating Extremism of the MIA of Russia in Yaroslavl region analyzed the entire array of photos and video from the football match. Police identified one of the young people, a resident of the Vladimir region born in 1989, who held a flag with the image of the Nazi symbols. On November 19, 2013 , he was taken by the police to Yaroslavl .

Kirov district court of Yaroslavl adjudged to bring him to the administrative liability under Article 20.3 of the RF Administrative Offences Code “Propaganda and public demonstration of Nazi attributes or symbols “. On the basis of the judge's decision the offender was placed under administrative arrest for 7 days. In addition, the investigating authorities prosecuted under Article 214 of the Criminal Code "Vandalism". Currently, the criminal investigation continues“, - says the site of the MIA Russia's Yaroslavl region.
