Roman Shirokov voted the best football player 2013

FC Zenit midfielder Roman Shirokov was voted the best football player 2-13 for the second time in a row. Weekly "Football" announced the results of the jubilee 50th voting of Russian mass media representatives:

" Recognition of the best player by the weekly "Football" is a prestigious award that has been held since 1964. Today it is the oldest football award. Each of the journalists who participated in the vote names three players who have proven themselves during the year and ranks them. Voting is allowed for players from the number of Russian championship players as well as Russian players playing abroad. This year, 80 journalists ranked Roman Shirokov the first, 59 - the second and 15 - the third. The winner is determined by the total score ", - weekly ‘Football’ site says.

The second position by the results of voting is Hulk (Zenit, Saint-Petersburg), the third position – Aleksander Kokorin (Dynamo, Moscow).
