Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne upheld the FC Rostov appeal and set aside the decision of the Licensing Commission and Club Licensing Appeal Committee of the Football Union of Russia in respect of the denial of the UEFA License. By the decision of CAS the license for participation in the UEFA Europa League in the 2014/2015 sporting season has been granted to FC Rostov, as the website of the club informs.

Head Coach of FC Rostov Miodrag Bozovic gave his comments on the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, according to which the team got the possibility to play in the UEFA Europa League.

- First of all I would like to congratulate our supporters! They have been supporting us very actively and they really deserved to see the European Cups matches in Rostov. In the previous season we did our best in order to get the Cup of Russia and we managed to do that! No I would like to express my gratitude to the club administration, which defended our rights till the very end and succeeded in it. Justice is finally served! For our team this news means a lot, the players are inspired! At the first training sessions it was possible to feel voidness and revery of the players, the atmosphere was different from the one we had before. Now we got the powerful impulse of the positive energy and we shall be preparing for the new season with emotional lift.

- Did you believe in the positive result of the proceedings?

- I am an optimist by nature and of course I kept hoping. Alexander Shikunov described to me in detail this situation and underlined that there are chances to win. We all believed in the favourable result and this morning this wonderful news woke us up. We feel both happiness and big responsibility. We have to get ready for the participation in the UEFA Europa League. This is a big chance for our team to show themselves. To bring joy now only to our supporters, but to all our country.

- Are you planning to make any amendments to the plan of Rostov preparation for the season related to the participation in UEFA Europa League?

- The plan has been worked out and approved long ago, it is not reasonable to change anything. What we need is some reinforcement. We need 3-4 strong players, one in each line.
