Top Administration of the Russian Football Premier League together with Deputy Head of Governor Administration of Krasnodar Region, Finance Minister of Krasnodar Region, Chairman of Krasnodar Regional Football Association Ivan Peronko had the press-conference at ITAR-TASS as a live TV link-up, which was dedicated to the kick-off of the football season and the match for the  Super Cup of Russia in football.

In 2013 PFC CSKA won Super Cup for the fifth time and the honorary trophy was given to the club. On 26 July 2014 on the pitch of Kuban stadium in Krasnodar PFC CSKA and FC Rostov will compete for the Super Cup of the new kind, which was presented to the general public at the press-conference.

RFPL President Sergey Pryadkin told that the choice of Krasnodar for organization of the season opening match was not only because of FC Kuban and FC Krasnodar success in SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship and European Cups, but also for the successful development of professional and grassroots football in the Region.

Ivan Peronko informed about the preparation of the city and Region to welcome and host the teams and their supporters, he also told about the events planned within the frames of Football Week related to the Super Cup.

Replying the questions of Moscow and Krasnodar media, the participants of the press-conference went into detail regarding ticketing programme of the match, match preparation and organization, as well as planned entertainment and public events.

Krasnodar – the Football capital of the South of Russia – is ready to host the football festival.
