UEFA Europa League: Lokomotiv and Dynamo played in a draw, Rostov and Krasnodar lost

On Thursday, 21 August, Russian clubs had the first leg matches of the UEFA Europa League play-off round.

Dynamo played in a draw in Khimki against Omonia from Cyprus - 2:2.
Goals for the Russian club were scored by Samba and Büttner. Kokorin was sent off the pitch in the second half.

Lokomotiv in Cyprus was not able to keep the winning in the match against Apollon - 1:1. In the team from Moscow the goal was scored by Kasaev. Denisov and Tigorev were sent off in the second half.

Rostov lost to Trabzonspor in Turkey - 0:2, and Krasnodar lost in Spain to Real Sociedad - 0:1.

The return leg matches will be played on 28 August.
