Condolences

On 26 September Grisha Simonyan passed away. For the last year he was fighting a severe illness - brain cancer. In spite of the illness he never gave up the idea of becoming a football player.

Sports portal Championat.com together with charity fund Oranzhevoye Nebo supported collecting money for treatment. Head of Chechnya Republik, FC Terek Honorary President Ramzan Kadyrov also covered the expenses of 19 year old boy treatment. Grisha signed a contract with the club from Groznyi.

In spring and summer of the current year Grisha had treatment and rehabilitation in Germany and returned to Moscow. The third stage of treatment should have started on 15 September, but because of the health deterioration departure to Germany was postponed. On 22 September in one of Moscow clinics he was operated on, after which he was entered into induced coma. On 22 September he passed away.
