State Duma will study a draft law about selling tickets for sports events upon submitting passport details

A draft law about selling tickets for sports event, including football matches, upon submitting passport details was sent to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. It was initiated by Head of the Federation Council Defense and Security Committee Victor Ozerov.

According to this draft law, the organizers of official sports competitions together with owners or users of the sports facilities, will be granted with the right to "settle their requirements on selling admission tickets upon producing passport or other ID". Appropriate amendments are proposed to be included into the law on "Physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation".

RFPL Director for Security and Work with Supporters Alexander Meytin supports this draft law.
