Arsenal Stadium closed for the game against CSKA

A meeting of the FUR-RFPL joint commission was held at the FUR, where the condition of the grass turf at Arsenal stadium in Tula was discussed.

According to the results of the meeting and taking into consideration unacceptable condition of the pitch (thin grass), absence of pitch heating during a long time and regular training session, the commission tool decision: “… not to approve the pitch (turf) of Arsenal Stadium (Tula) for the Russian Football Championship match on 21 March 2015 against PFC Arsenal (Tula) and PFC CSKA….”. The commission also did not recommend to have regular training sessions on the football pitch of Arsenal Stadium.

In accordance with Art. 10 of the SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship Regulations 2014-2015, PFC Arsenal is requested to inform to the Premier League about alternative stadium for holding the match of the MD 20.
