Upon the initiative of the Russian Football Premier League, heads of RFPL, Football National League and Professional Football League had a joint press-conference in ITAR-TASS dedicated to the re-start of the SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship and Russian Football Premiership. RFPL President Sergey Pryadkin, FNL President Igor Efremov and PFL President Andrey Sokolov answered the questions of numerous media representatives.
Sergey Pryadking congratulated media representatives on re-start of the Championship and spoke about preparation for it, new stadia Kazan-Arena and Otrkytie Arena, legislative initiatives of the Premier League, supported by the Russian Federation Government, as well as new arrivals of Nash Futbol TV channel. President of the League described in detail how the decision on the ban of the MD 20 match between PFC Arsenal and PFC CSKA was taken, about recommendations to the clubs on preparation of the pitches for the spring part of the Championship and again expressed his apology to the supporters for the poor condition of the pitch at Saturn stadium in Ramenskoye. Special attention was paid to the negative activities in the Russian football upon the request of the international news agency Reuters representative.
FNL and PFL Presidents thanked Sergey Pryadkin for the invitation to the joint press-conference and expressed their intention to have such meetings with media within the frames of the united football family of the professional football in Russia in future. They also spoke about preparation of professional leagues to the spring part of the competitions and financial initiatives of their clubs in the complicated economics situation in the country.
RFPL Security Director Alexander Meytin spoke about work on preparation of new laws for providing safety, security and comfort of supporters at the matches, work of the League for prevention of negative activities at the stadiums and the order of ticketing distribution upon producing ID.
President of European Legal Service, law partner of the Premier League, Sergey Bekrenev told about programme of free assistance to the supporters on the RFPL matchdays, as well as about new projects for all Russian football lovers.
