Lokomotiv is the Cup of Russia Holder

On Thursday, 21 May, the Cup of Russia 2014-2015 final match was held in Astrakhan, where Lokomotiv Moscow was playing against Kuban Krasnodar.

The fulltime ended in a draw – 1:1. Goal by Ignatiev was replied with a well-placed shot for Lokomotiv by Niasse.

During extra time Lokomotiv managed to get the win after well-paced shots of Boussoufa and Miranchuk.

For the sixth time in its history Lokomotiv became the Cup of Russia holder and got the right to play in UEFA Europa League. In the Super Cup of Russia match Zenit will be playing against Lokomotiv.
