Young Railwaymen is Worthy Coming Generation of Lokomotiv

On Friday, 5 June, an awarding ceremony of Lokomotiv team (players born in 1999) who became the Russian Football Champion was held at Lokomotiv Stadium .

RFPL Executive Director Sergey Cheban, FC Lokomotiv President Olga Smorodskaya and Center of Sports Education of Lokomotiv Director Sergey Pavlov took part in the ceremony.

Lokomotiv beat all its opponents in the final tournament in Sochi, and in the final match it was stronger than Rubin Kazan – 2:0. Railwaymen also received individual awards: Best Defender – Ivan Lapshov, Best Forward – Evgeny Slanko, and MVP of the tournament – Maxim Kalachevskiy.
