On Thursday, 16 July the AEL Arena stadium in Larisa hosted the semi-final match of the UEFA European U-19 Championship 2015 Russia against Greece (players born in or after 1996). Our team headed by Dmitry Khomukha claimed a high-score win over the opponent and got through to the final of the continental forum. It is great achievement as Russia U19 teams have never qualified even to the play-off stage from the group before! In the title match Russia will play against the winner of Spain vs. France match.
