Football Pitch for the kids! Charity event of RFPL and Championat.com

Russian Football Premier League within the frames of Social Programme Kind Hearts League and sports portal Championat.com launched a charity event on rendering assistance to children, the aim of which is construction of a football pitch for Children SOS village – Tomilino. Bamard company will assist in installation of the pitch.

An auction will be arranged and many valuable items will be sold there – from football boots of Alexander Kokorin signed by famous Brazilian Ronaldo, to the RFPL star-players jerseys. About RUB 500 thousand needs to be collected for the pitch installation.

 «Children SOS village – is a charity event supporting orphans and little kids left without their parents. In fact, Children SOS village (SOS does not mean a signal for help, but social support) is a community of   10-15 families, as a rule, there is an adoptive mother and 5-7 kids. They live together all the time. Every house has individual life, rules and traditions. Each child has his/her own space, belongings, clothes and toys. Children go to general kindergartens and schools.

Now there are six villages of this kind in Russia. Children village in Tomilino not far from Moscow is the first one in Russia, it was opened in 1996. The expenses on the children accommodation, upbringing, development and educations are almost fully covered by charity donations. Anyone can become a “Friend of Children Villages” and to assist to the organization with monthly donations. Even small amount is very important, it will be happily accepted and usefully spent.

The most outstanding benefactors will receive commemorative gifts from the stars of the Russian Football. The prizes were donated by Yura Movsisyan, Andrey Arshavin, Alan Dzagoev, Alexander Kokorin, Kevin Kuranyi, Vedran Corluka, Alexander Samedov. There is also a T-shirt signed by CSKA President Evgeny Giner among the lots.
