The Championship Has High Potential

On Tuesday, 18 August, a Press-Conference of the Russian Football Premier League Administration related to the results of the Russian Football Championship season 2015-2016 MD 5 results took place in the RFPL head-quarters. Cup of Russia holder, coach of youth club and national teams of Russia Ravil Sabitov joined heads of RFPL for this event.

Premier League Executive Director Sergey Cheban mentioned that MD 5 of the Championship was marked with a number of records. «We are very pleased that Spartak – PFC CSKA match was attended by a record number of spectators. The broadcast ranking of this game happened to be higher than the one of Vremya Programe on Pervyi Kanal. It means, that Russian football is interesting and has huge potential, which should be implemented» - he said.

Ravil Sabitov specially mentioned the derby of the MD, also he replied many questions of media representatives and RFPL media networks users. «I liked the previous MD very much, especially I would like to mention match Spartak – PFC CSKA. I had a feeling that I was watching bestseller, so I would like to thank RFPL, coaches of the teams, players, and of course, supporters which came to the stadium. I was a real football festival, this match set the style, this is exactly the way to play».

Ravil Sabitov also shared his opinion on the other matches of the MD, and especially pointed out the game of the noticeably refreshed squad of Dynamo Moscow.

Deputy Security and Work with Supporters Director of RFPL Alexander Safonov mentioned that the MD was quite peaceful. «I would like to emphasize the work of Amkar security staff. At the match against Anji there were some abusive shouts from the stands addressed to the team from Dagestan. But the club staff was ready for the game: they had installed microphones synchronized with video cameras at the stands. As a result – one of the trouble-makers was arrested, six more were  identified and they are waiting for the sanctions», - he told.
