ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship Official Name

Dear Colleagues!

Please be informed that according to the FUR Executive Committee order No 168/3.5    of 04 September 2015 for the seasons 2015-2016, 2016-2017,2017-2018  the following title names of the All-Russian football competitions have been approved: «ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship among Premier League club teams» and «ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Premiership among Premier League U-21 Teams».   Besides, short names are also allowed as follows - «ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship»  and   «ROSGOSSTRAKH U-21 Russian Football Premiership». Above mentioned names can be used both with indication of the exact season and without it.

We would like to attract your  attention to par. 3 art.20 of the Federal Law  № 329-FL  «On Sport and Physical Culture of the Russian Federation» which stipulates as follows: «Media should use approved by the organizers exact and non-altered names of sports events, besides such names cannot be considered as advertisement».

With relation to the above mentioned we kindly ask you to use exact and non-altered names of these competitions when covering ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship  and   ROSGOSSTRAKH U-21 Russian Football Premiership.
