print version

Zenit Football club and Rusfond are pleased to announce the completion of fundraising in the charity project "Come on!" In two weeks fans have raised the money to help 8-year-old Rahim. 1,045,166 Rubles was donated!

As Zenit website informs, the captain of the blue-white-sky blues will keep his promise and soon cut the hair of St. Petersburg in one of the city's barbers!

The collected donatations will be directed to Rahim, who is suffering from a rare disease.

Rahima's mother told us "He has very fragile bones. The slightest bump or pressure can cause injury. The first turning point came when the child was five months old. Then the second, the third ... We were discharged from the hospital and then went back. He began to have problems in his legs. Doctors have linked the broken bones with metal spokes and plates, but soon there were injuries in places where there were no fortifications".

"My son has undergone ten operations for numeorus fractures. He can not walk alone, every step causes unbearable pain. My son loves football, but because of the pain in the legs he has to play with his hands. Rahim needs treatment in Moscow clinic, where people know how to help these children. After an examination, doctors will select the appropriate means of rehabilitation for Rahim, splints, walkers, wheelchairs".

Zenit and Rusfond are grateful for the support of all those who contributed and helped the boy, in the near future we will announce about the details of the next mission. Come on, come on!
