Football Leave for Vacations

print version

ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship MD 18 Preview.

ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship MD 18 wraps-up the autumn part of the current season. After these matches five more clubs will be having their European Cups matches, and the rest will go on vacations thinking about spring. However, before the season will be restarted the clubs will have to work a lot including strengthening their squads.

PFC CSKA will leave for the winter break as the leader not depending on the result of the match against Amkar, but it is interesting which gap will have the team of Leonid Slutskiy from their closest followers. In November the Army team did not have any wins, however their pursuers also cannot boast stability in their performance. The poor results of the leader are the consequences of the key players injuries, which cannot be replaced. So PFC CSKA Administration has to look for those, who can substitute the leaders in case of necessity, during the off-season.

The main trouble maker in the current season – Rostov – will be hosting Rubin in a home game. This is not just an ordinary game for Kurban Berdyev, as for a long period he had served faithfully and loyally to the club from Kazan and reached  huge success with it. Now Rostov with the experience of his head coach can finish this calendar year on the second position of the tournament. However, even with unfavourable outcome  the team will not go down lower than the 4th line.

Lokomotiv Moscow is hosting Ural at home. The Moskowites does not show maximum of their results, but they will do their best in order to gain three points in this match and to finish the autumn part of the Championship among three top teams. However, Ural won’t be  a “whipping boy” for sure.

Zenit is hosting Ufa which occupies its position in the bottom part of the tournament table , without Hulk and Javi Garcia. Will the club from the Neva riverbanks manage to succeed without its leader? We shall get the reply only on Sunday.

Spartak will play against Krylia Sovetov in a home match. The team of Dmitry Alenichev won only three matches out of nine played at Otkrytie Arena, and lost four. Evidently, Spartak can become one of the main newsmaker in transfer market during winter break.

Derby Kuban against Krasnodar will be played in Krasnodar. Both teams always show a tough competition disregarding the positions they occupy. So it is difficult to name the evident favourite here.

After their fantastic beating Zenit Terek will go to Saransk where they are goint to play against Mordovia, which struggles for survival.

Dynamo will play against Anji in Khimki. Both teams desperately  need winning. Dynamo is slowly gaining condition after they had to change their policy. Young players are getting used to the new conditions and requirements. Anji intends to leave the bottom  line of the tournament table.
