Lokomotiv Contunue its History of Wins

On Tuesday, 5 April, the presentation of a new date of the club foundation took place at Lokomotiv Museum. FC Lokomotiv Board of Directors Chairman Anatoly Mescheryakov, FUR 1^st Vice President Nikita Simonyan, RFPL President Sergey Pryadkin, RFPL Top Administration, Head of Moscow Railway Vladimir Moldaver, the Club Administration, coaches, players and supporters took part in the  official ceremony, as Lokomotiv website informs.

 «In 2011 we founded the first in Russia club museum. We worked in archives, looked for the documents and today we are able to fix the date of the club foundation – 23 July 1922. We continue to write our history and to fill the collection of our museum», - said Olga Smorodskaya, FC Lokomotiv President.

 «Before the stadium of Lokomotiv name was “Stalinets”, and I used to play at this stadium, - Nikita Simonyan took the floor. – Nikolay Razumovskiy, Valentin Bubukin, Victor Voroshilov, Vitaly Artemyev… We can remember a lot of them. Lokomotiv has a great history».

«This is great that you managed to find so many documents and materials. I wish to all of you to fill your museum with new medals and to keep your tradidions. And I also would like to give a commemorative plate to Olga Smorodskaya for her invaluable contribution into development of youth and grassroots football and great work which she is doing», - said Sergey Pryadkin, RFPL President.
