On 16 May 2016 a famous Soviet player and coach Sergey Andreev celebrated his 60-anniversary.

A legend of the Don football Sergey Andreev became the Olympic Games 1980 bronze medal winner with the USSR National Team and the best scorer of the tournament. And he also played in the USSR National Team at FIFA World Cup in 1982.

Playing for SKA Rostov he won the USSR Cup in 1981, he twice became the best scorer of the country Championships. Sergey Andreev is the only Soviet player, who joined Fedotov Club, Blokhin Club, and he also scored 100 goals in the first division of the USSR Championships.

After finishing his playing career Sergey proved himself to be a very good coach. Together with Rostselmash he got the 6th place in the Russian Championship. During the recent time Sergey Andreev has been coaching MITOS Club.
