Rostov played in a draw against Ajax in Amsterdam

In the first leg match of UEFA Champions League Play-off round Ajax hosted Rostov in Amsterdam.

The game ended in a draw – 1:1.

The free kick by Noboa resulted in a goal, was equalized by a well–converted kick from 11-meter mark by Klaassen.

The return leg match will take place on 24 August in Rostov-on-Don. It is interesting to know that Ajax has never won over a Russian club in European Cups.
