Lokomotiv, Terek, Anji and Ufa made a successful start in the Cup of Russia

On 21-22 September the matches of 1/16 Cup of Russia 2016/2017 are held.

In Khimki Lokomotiv Moscow hosted the local team and won – 3:0. The goals were scored by Kasaev, Chernoshov (an own goal) and Portnyagin.

Fakel hosted Terek in Voronezh. After the shot by Troshechkin the home team was leading in this game, but Lebedenko saved the club from Grozny from a defeat. The winner of the game was determined in after-match penalty shoot-outs. The Premier League club won – 5:3.

The winner by penalty shoot-outs was also defined in Belgorod, where Energomash hosted Ufa. The full and extra time ended 1:1, and in penalty shoot-outs the club from Ufa was better directed – 5:3.

Anji also passed through the Cup of Russia Round of 32. It beat Mordovia in an away match – 2:1. The goals by Ilicevic and Mintari brought win to the team from Makhachkala.

Arsenal Tula lost to Tosno in Novgorod Velikiy – 0:2.
