National Team of Russia was not able to win in Qatar

On Thursday, 10 November, National team of Russia played an international friendly match in Doha against Qatar team. The game ended with win of the team from Qatar – 2:1.

At the first minutes of the game Romanian referee awarded a penalty to the goal of the home team. The kick from 11-meter mark was converted by Alexadner Samedov. The opponent of the Russian team 2 times performed kicks from 11-meter mark before the halftime. The first kick went close to the goalpost, and the second one was converted. During the second half the home team scored from the corner kick. The 4^th kick form 11-meter mark was awarded to the goal of Qatar team, but, alas, the goalkeeper saved the kick by Kokorin.

We should not forget that Stanislav Cherchesov experimented with the squad for this game. The next match of the National team of Russia will be played on Tuesday, 15 November, in Grozny against the team of Romania.
