News On Monday, 22 May, Football Union of Russia and Russian Football Premier League summarized sport and creative results of season 2016 – 2017.
Representatives of the Russian football top administration headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Football Union of Russia President Vitaly Mutko, FUR 1st Vice-President Nikita Simonyan, RFPL President Sergey Pryadkin, coaches, players, Premier League clubs staff, representatives of business community and leading media took part in this event which was organized at Amber Plaza in Moscow.
The presenters were 2018 FIFA World Cup Ambassador, TV presenter, top model, Miss Russia title holder Victoria Lopyreva and presenter of morning show STARPertsy at New Radio Vadim Voronov. The welcome speech to all the guests was delivered by Vitaly Mutko.
The best goalkeeper of season 2016 – 2017 is confirmed – Igor Akinfeev (PFC CSKA and National Team of Russia). Best defenders are Mario Fernandes (PFC CSKA), Vasily Berezutskiy (PFC CSKA),Cesar Navas (FC Rostov), Dmitry Kombarov (FC Spartak-Moscow).
Best midfields are Fernando, Quincy Promes, Denis Glushakov and Roman Zobnin (left) from Spartak. Best forwards are Artem Dzyuba (FC Zenit) and Fedor Smolov (FC Krasnodar).
Honorary award for great contribution to football development was received by the FUR 1st Vice-President, Olympic Champion of 1956 Nikita Simonyan.
MVP of the season is Spartak captain Denis Glushakov, best coach – head coach of the red-whites – Massimo Carrera, and the best team of the year – Spartak-Moscow.
Expectations award (MVP among U-21 players) went to Fedor Chalov from PFC CSKA. Best referee is Vladislav Bezborodov.
Russian Football Premier League awarded with honorary diploma “For fruitful cooperation” its partners – Rosgosstrakh, European Legal Service, Match-TV, Betting company Liga Stavok, Rambler&Co, Betting company OLIMP.
Award for the great contribution to Russian football development was received by FC Lokomotiv President Ilya Gerkus, FC Ufa CEO Shamil Gazizov, FC Spartak-Moscow Commercial Director Alexander Atamanenko, FC Ufa Sport Director Ildus Biglov, FC Lokomotiv Commercial Director Igor Smirnov, FC Lokomotiv Marketing Director Darya Spivak, Director of FC Spartak-Moscow official fan-club Valentin Korshunov, Head of Department of work with supporters of PFC CSKA Ivan Ulanov, PFC CSKA Commercial Department representative Alexey Ubeyvolk, FC Krasnodar Supporters Liaison Officer Georgy Bezbedov.
Award for Popularization of Russian football was given to Director of FC Spartak-Moscow PR and Communications Department Leonid Trakhtenberg, Director of PR and Information Policy of PFC CSKA Sergey Aksenov, Head of FC Lokomotiv PR Department Andrey Bodrov, Head of FC Ufa Press-Service Sergey Tyrtyshnyi, Director of FC Spartak-Moscow Alexey Matveev, FC Krasnodar photographer Andrey Schramko. FC Krasnodar got a special award for successful development of club media resources.
Special award of the Russian Football Premier League for foundation and development of athletes families charity project "Play and Help" was received by its founders – Ekaterina Smolnikova and Victoria Shatova.
The best SLO of the season is Ruslan Dryuma (FC Zenit).
Special awards for popularization of the Russian football was received by TV journalist and commentator Georgy Cherdantsev and journalist Alexander Lvov.
For the great contribution to popularization of Russian football the following media were awarded: Match TV, Sport-Express, Sovetskiy Sport, Championat, radio Sport FM, TASS Sports Department, R-Sport Sport Department, weekly paper Football-Hockey, Moskovskiy Komsomolets and SBC (Sport.
