Manchester United is UEFA Europa League winner

On Wednesday, 24 May, the final match of UEFA Europa League match was played in Stokholm where Manchester United played against Ajax.

The match ended with win of the English club  – 2:0.

Well-placed shots by Paul Pogba and Henrykh Mkhitaryan  fixed the final score.

This is the first time for Manchester United to win this title of UEFA Europa League.

FC Zenit midfield Victor Giuliano and AS Roma forward Edin Džeko became the best scorers of UEFA Europa League in season 2016-2017. Each of them scored 8 goals.
