Football Club Lokomotiv is - 95!

On 23 July 1922 team Kazanka, the predecessor of FC Lokomotiv, played its first match.

Lokomotive roots come from Moscow-Kazan Railway. In summer 1922 the railwaymen of this road founded the team Kazanka for participating in summer competitions. On 23 July they won against Izmaylovo sport club 7:0.

 
The club history has many glorious wins. The team won the Russian Championship twice, the USSR Cup twice, seven times the Cup of Russia, and twice the Super Cup of Russia.

Russian Football Premier League would like to congratulate Lokomotiv and all its supporters on the 95th anniversary of their club and wishes a lot of new wins!
