Igor Akinfeev announced the Best Goalkeeper of the Year for the 10th time

National team of Russia and PFC CSKA goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev received the Best Goalkeeper of the Year Lev Yashin Award from Ogonek magazine for the 10^th time.

In season 2017-2018 the main goalkeeper of PFC CSKA took part in 28 matches of ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship and played 15 of them with clean sheet.

Before Akinfeev got this Award in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014 and 2017.

The Best Goalkeeper of the Year title is the award to the best goalkeeper of the football season in Russia/USSR, which is traditionally awarded by Ogonek magazine as of 1960. The first award was received by Lev Yashin and this nomination was commemorated to him.
