Lokomotiv beat Zenit

The second MATCH PREMIER Cup match was played between the current season leader Zenit and current titleholder Lokomotiv. The game ended with win of the team from Moscow 3:1.

Fedor Smolov scored the opener in the 35^th minute, a minute later the second goal was scored by Anton Miranchuk. Young Lokomotiv midfield Alexey Mironov extended the gap in the 54^th minute. Emiliano Rigoni managed to play one goal back in the 82^nd minute and fixed the final score of the game.

The next matches of the tournament will be played on Friday, 25 January. Zenit will play against Spartak at 18:30, Lokomotiv will play against Rostov at 21:30.
