Spartak beat Zenit

In the first match of MD 2 at MATCH PREMIER Cup the opponents of principle played against each other – Zenit and Spartak. The match ended with win of the team from Moscow 3:0.

Georgy Melkadze scored the opener for the Red-whites in the 28^th minute of the game. One minute later Denis Glushakov scored. The final score of the game was fixed by Luiz Adriano in the 73^rd minute of the game.

After two matches Spartak gained 6 points and is on the top line of the tournament table, and Zenit lost any chances to compete for the Trophy.

Zenit will play its last match at the tournament on Monday, 28 January, against Rostov, and Spartak will play on Tuesday, 29 January, against Lokomotiv.
