Draw in the first match of the new season

Russian Premier League season 2019/20 kicked-off on Friday, 12 July. Arsenal hosted Dynamo in Tula in the first match. The game ended in a draw 1:1.

The first goal in the new season was scored by Miguel Cardoso. The Portuguese midfield borrowed the ball in the penalty area of the opponents and made a well-placed shot to the upper corner of the goal of Mikhail Levashov. The equalizing goal was scored by Gia Grigalava in the 84^th minute with a powerful shot from beyond the penalty area.

Match Premier experts approved Miguel Cardoso as the best player of the match. This is the first award given by the Russian Premier League in season 2019/20.
