Nikolay Komlichenko returns to Russia with Dynamo Moscow

print version

Russian international forward Nikolay Komlichenko has signed for Dynamo Moscow from Czech top-flight side Mlada Boleslav. The 24-year-old has signed 4.5-year deal with Kirill Novikov’s side.

Komlichenko has been on blistering form recently with 13 goals and six assists in 20 games in the Czech Republic this season. Since the start of last season he has provided more than one direct goal contribution per club match (42 goals and 13 assists in 53 games in all competitions).

Dynamo Moscow are in need of his goalscoring touch. They are one of the lowest scoring teams in the Russian Premier League with just 16 in 19 games so far this season. Only two sides - Rubin Kazan and Akhmat Grozny - have managed fewer.

The former Krasnodar academy product made his full international debut for Stanislav Cherchesov’s side last year against Scotland. He has scored once in 38 minutes across three appearances for his country.
