Late Eremenko strike the difference for FC Rostov against FC Krasnodar

Roman Eremeneko struck with three minutes remaining to give FC Rostov a winning conclusion to their winter training schedule against Russian Premier Liga rivals FC Krasnodar.

Valeriy Karpin named a strong side in his team’s final winter training friendly match that included top goalscorer Eldor Shomurodov, Matthias Normann - both of whom, like their manager, have signed new long-term contracts - and former FC Krasnodar midfielder Pavel Mamaev.

Both teams have returned from Spain to prepare for the resumption of the Russian Premier Liga. FC Rostov take on Akhmat Grozny away on Saturday 29 February, while FC Krasnodar host FC Ufa on Sunday 1 March.
