Fan experience boosted during International Women’s Day weekend

The last round of the Russian Premier Liga was rich not only in drama and entertainment, but in events organised for the fans. The main theme of the last round was the celebration of International Women's Day and the memory of the legendary captain of the USSR national team Igor Netto.

FC Sochi vs FC Ural Ekaterinburg

Before the match with Ural, Sochi pleased its fans with traditional panna football, tech ball and food courts. Especially for all the ladies on the eve of 8 March, a flower photo zone of many roses was organized.

Lokomotiv Moscow vs Akhmat Grozny

In the capital, Lokomotiv congratulated girls who came to the RZD Arena on their holiday. Before the match, fans warmed up at a concert by RSAC, a candy and bouquet master class for children was held in the family sector of the stadium, and guests of the VIP zone had the opportunity to create a new perfume fragrance.

Dynamo Moscow vs FC Tambov

Dynamo Moscow also paid attention to the beautiful half. Girls at the stadium were lucky enough to receive bouquets of tulips from the Dynamo and FC Tambov players of Dynamo. A festive program with active shopping and a concert was also staged.

FC Orenburg vs Arsenal Tula

In Orenburg, the match organizers offered fans the chance to recharge with hot mulled wine, and to take part in a competition to win delicious prizes. On the eve of their holiday, ladies received flowers as a gift.

In Kazan, players took to the field with bouquets of flowers, celebrating the 8 March spring holiday. The players were taken to the field by girls, wards of the charity Fund "Children are United", who were later presented with bouquets.

FC Rostov vs CSKA Moscow

As part of its tour, the new RPL trophy arrived at the Rostov Arena, where everyone took a photo with it. New photo booths were also installed on the territory adjacent to the stadium and Eldor Shomurodov’s shirt was presented to the winner of the matchday 20 competition.

Spartak Moscow vs FC Krasnodar

For one evening, the Otkritie Arena plunged into the 1950s. Before the match, everyone could take part in traditional Soviet fitness pursuits, and take part in Soviet games. For Spartak fans there was an autograph session with Nail Umyarov, while a quiz with questions about the life of Spartak legends was launched. In memory of the famous Spartak player Igor Netto, the first symbolic kick-off was made by the great captain's teammate Nikita Simonyan.

Zenit St. Petersburg vs FC Ufa

At the entrance to the Gazprom Arena, fans were greeted by an arch of chrysanthemums, which smoothly passed into a photo zone with sequins. Men were greeted by a platform where cards and flowers could be made with their own hands.

The main event of the pre-match program was the presentation of Zenit’s first ever women's team. The presentation was attended by the General Director of the club Alexander Medvedev, and the record scorer in the history of Russian football Alexander Kerzhakov.
