print version

The latest general meeting of Russian Premier Liga clubs was held via video link.

The clubs reviewed and adopted rules concerning the following aspects for the resumption of training and holding matches: the procedure for testing players and staff, rules for employees of clubs and arenas, and for fans, broadcasters and media to enter stadiums.

Spectators will be able to attend matches with the permission of regional authorities. Fans of visiting clubs will not be able to attend the games.

Journalists, as well as viewers, will have access to RPL matches. Media representatives will be required to stay in the press box, maintain a social distance and use protective equipment in the form of masks and gloves. The format of post-match press conferences was also decided. They will be held via video link, which will be technically organised by the host clubs.

The regulations will be published pending approval by the Russian Football Union Executive Committee. In addition, clubs were informed about the terms of the summer transfer window, which will open on 26 July and close on 19 September.

At the general meeting, the conclusion of the Youth Championship - which will not be completed on the pitch - was summarised, with Dynamo Moscow recognised as champions for the 2019/20 season. This decision must be approved by the RFU Executive Committee.
